At this month’s Board of Education meeting, we had the privilege of honoring outstanding members of our CNUSD family who exemplify dedication, achievement, and commitment to excellence.
We began the evening by celebrating our Students of the Month, whose hard work, leadership, and academic achievements inspire our entire district. These remarkable students represent the best of CNUSD, and we are proud to recognize their outstanding contributions to their schools and communities.
Next, we celebrated the achievements of district staff members who recently earned their Master’s Degrees. This accomplishment reflects their unwavering commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth. By pursuing advanced education, these individuals have demonstrated a passion for enriching their expertise, ultimately enhancing the experiences and outcomes for the students they serve.
Following these recognitions, we highlighted the remarkable contributions of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to our district and community:
Madeline Rife, a dedicated student at Roosevelt High School, was honored for her exemplary commitment to her school, district, and community. Madeline’s leadership and service set a shining example for her peers. Her ability to positively impact those around her reflects the core values of CNUSD and inspires us all to strive for excellence.
George Rodriguez, a respected educator at Harada Elementary School, was recognized for his incredible accomplishment of being selected as a Little League World Series umpire. His skill, professionalism, and dedication to the values of the game have earned him national recognition. Beyond his athletic contributions, George continues to serve as a role model, inspiring students and colleagues alike through his commitment to community and teamwork.
Finally, we celebrated the invaluable service of Board Members Bill Pollock and Dr. Jose Lalas. Throughout their tenure, they have been passionate advocates for students, families, and educators. Their steadfast leadership has been instrumental in advancing educational equity, innovation, and opportunity for all. We thank them for their extraordinary dedication.
