Raney Intermediate students in Mr. Tsang’s class celebrated Computer Science Week virtually with a special guest speaker from the medical field, Mark Bieberich.

Mark shared his experience in the bio-medical field and what projects he has worked on. He began his presentation with his background in college and what classes he took and continued into sharing what companies he's worked for. For example, he worked a blood bumping machine that helps get frozen blood at blood banks back to body temperature for transfusion. He now uses 3D printers to prototype and create cartridges that are currently used to test COVID-19 symptoms.
