Rondo Excels at Fall Academic Competition
Eastvale, CA- The Rondo School of Discovery’s Mandarin Immersion program is celebrating a big milestone by joining the Southern California Chinese Culture Society (SCCCS) as a member school for the first time— and the results were nothing short of spectacular! Students from the program competed in the SCCCS Fall Academic competition, where they showcased their skills and knowledge alongside 600 other students from across Southern California.
The competition featured a variety of categories, including on-the-spot calligraphy, essay writing, handwriting, and Mandarin poster creation. Despite being newcomers, the students of the Mandarin program made an outstanding mark with 50% of participants placing in their respective categories and earning multiple trophies!
"I had the honor of representing Rondo during the event and sharing how we cultivate a supportive and dynamic learning environment for our student leaders,” said Assistant Principal, Eileen Wunderlich. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our incredible teachers, the determination of our students, and the unwavering support of our parent community.”
The Rondo School of Discovery Mandarin Immersion Program debut at the SCCCS Fall Academic Competition is an outstanding and proud moment, marking the first of many milestones to come as the program continues to grow and thrive.
