Victoria Li Riverside County Spelling Bee Champion
Corona-Norco Unified School District proudly celebrates Victoria Li, a 7th-grade student at Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate School, on being named the 2026 Riverside County Spelling Bee Champion.
Victoria demonstrated exceptional focus and determination throughout the competition, securing her win by correctly spelling “potamic,” followed by “ejecta” as the championship word.
This achievement marks Victoria’s second consecutive county title. In 2025, she advanced to the quarterfinals at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, finishing tied for 58th place. She will once again represent Riverside County and, our CNUSD community, at the national competition in Washington, D.C. this May.
Victoria shared that she studies for several hours each day and plans to continue expanding her preparation as she heads to the national stage.
CNUSD is incredibly proud of Victoria’s hard work and dedication, and we look forward to cheering her on as she competes among the nation’s top spellers.
