Hands-On Fun at Eastvale’s STEM Expo

A Night of Wonder and Discovery at the 8th Annual eSTEM Expo

Eastvale, CA - The air was electric Tuesday evening at the Eastvale STEM Academy, where families, students, staff, and community members gathered for the 8th Annual eSTEM Expo—a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning.

The event welcomed guests of all ages, offering an incredible variety of free activities and interactive exhibits that made science, technology, engineering, and math come alive. Younger students dove into everything from slime-making and bubble physics to Vex robotics, math mazes, and upcycled planting projects.

Parents and kids moved from station to station, many pausing to capture moments on their phones—wide-eyed little ones holding glowing terrariums, focused tweens assembling Lego trains, and students proudly presenting their projects.

For older students, the expo was a gateway to opportunity. They visited booths run by ERHS clubs, explored successful science fair projects, and connected with colleges and universities like Norco College, UCI, and La Sierra University. They also met with local organizations, including Rotary, Kiwanis, the City of Eastvale, and JCSD, to learn how they could get involved and give back.

Adding to the magic were the three ticketed activities, all led by eSTEM student ambassadors. In themed rooms, students helped guests race balloon-powered cars, save stranded astronauts with fluffy slime, and build glow-in-the-dark dinosaur terrariums. These 30-minute adventures gave students a chance to teach, lead, and connect with younger kids—some of whom were experiencing science in a hands-on way for the first time.

The eSTEM Expo isn’t just about experiments and exhibits—it’s about sparking inspiration, building connections, and showing students what’s possible when learning becomes an adventure. Thank you to all the students, staff, and community partners who made this event such a memorable success.
