C.A.R.E Hubs

CARE Hubs

We’re thrilled to announce an important enhancement to how we serve and support our families: CNUSD’s Parent Center has expanded into five, locally-based C.A.R.E (Community-Access-Resources-Emotional Wellness) Hubs, located at high schools throughout the district. This shift is part of our ongoing commitment to equity, access, and community connection.

Our Philosophy
To encourage, strengthen and serve all communities by extending knowledge and igniting a spark of hope.

What’s Changing?
Starting this fall, families will no longer need to travel across town to access resources. Instead, you’ll be able to visit a dedicated C.A.R.E Hub at one of our five comprehensive high schools, each offering personalized support tailored to your community’s needs. Your specific elementary or intermediate feeder pattern school will be assigned to one of the five high schools.

Each C.A.R.E Hub will be staffed with a knowledgeable Community Assistant who can help you navigate:
• Enrollment & attendance support
• Academic resources & tutoring information
• Social-emotional wellness services
• Family workshops & digital literacy training
• Community referrals and more

Why This Change?
By expanding one centralized center to multiple neighborhood-based hubs, we are removing barriers and ensuring that all families, regardless of where they live, can receive timely and convenient support.

This localized model allows for:
• Greater accessibility across the city
• Customized services tied to each school community
• Closer collaboration between families and school sites

We believe these changes will strengthen family-school partnerships and allow us to better meet the needs of all learners.

The original Parent Center location will still house our Heart Closet and food pantry.
