Corona Norco Unified School District and Norco College have a CCAP partnership that allows current high school students the opportunity to take college courses in pre-determined pathways earning college credit while still in high school. Dual Enrollment is for all high school students, in particular for students who may not see themselves as college-bound. These courses assist students in college enrollment and the exploration of various pathways their school might not offer.
Dual Enrollment is offered in fall, fall late-start, winter, spring, and summer terms and is taught by Norco College instructors.
Incoming 9th grade students: Students entering high school are not able to take Dual Enrollment courses the summer before 9th grade. The soonest an incoming 9th grade student can take Dual Enrollment courses is during the Fall term of 9th grade, with GUI-47 or GUI-48 being the only course that can be taken. Furthermore, we recommend students become acclimated with high school coursework before adding on a Dual Enrollment course.
Current 9th to 12th grade students: Students currently in high school are eligible to take Dual Enrollment courses. Please note courses with pre-requisites. If you are new to Dual Enrollment, we recommend you start with GUI-47 or GUI-48 as your first course.
