Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan

Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan Template (2020–21)

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, conditions changed drastically in the educational process for California students.  School were closed based on mandates from the state and counties.  With that in mind, the state has required districts to write a plan to address these significant changes.  This plan is called the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan.  This plan is intended to balance the needs of all stakeholders, including educators, parents, students and community members, while both streamlining engagement and condensing several preexisting plans.  The Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan memorializes the planning process already underway for the 2020–21 school year and includes descriptions of the following: addressing gaps in learning; conducting meaningful stakeholder engagement; maintaining transparency; addressing the needs of unduplicated pupils, students with unique needs, and students experiencing homelessness; providing access to necessary devices and connectivity for distance learning; providing resources and supports to address student and staff mental health and social emotional well-being; and continuing to provide school meals for students.
The CNUSD plan will be formally adopted on September 15, 2020 and is currently here in a draft format for you to view over the next two weeks.  We cordially invite you to provide comments for feedback and improvement of the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan.  Thank you for the time and consideration during this process.
