School Counselors in CNUSD are credentialed educators who support student success through a comprehensive school counseling program following the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) national model. School Counselors provide tiered intervention services through Multi-Tiered, Multi-Domain Systems of Supports (MTMDSS) to families and students in the domains of academic, college/career, and social/emotional wellness.

School Counselors are available at the elementary, intermediate, and high school levels in CNUSD and supports vary by grade level. Examples of counseling services in MTMDSS format can be found HERE.
