Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) in CNUSD
The Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD) offers an annual assessment to identify students who qualify for the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program.
Qualified students may participate in one of our GATE magnet classrooms at four district elementary schools, or they may receive GATE services within their home school classroom.
GATE services are offered in grades 3–6. Once a student is identified as GATE, that designation remains through middle and high school. However, formal GATE programs are available only during the elementary years. After sixth grade, all students—whether GATE-identified or not—have access to a full range of advanced academic opportunities.
