Entrepreneurship 101 Workshop

Participants identify their purpose, vision, and goals. Understand themselves as entrepreneurs, the value of their products and services, and how to maximize sales and profitability. Focus areas include Business Operations, Sales & Marketing and Finance. 

  • 6-week workshop

  • September 20th - October 25th

  • Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Registration: $60

  • Location: Corona-Norco Adult School Campus (300 S. Buena Vista Ave. Corona)

Professional Communications Certification
Learn about workplace communication etiquette, customer communication, teamwork and collaboration, leadership, presentation strategies, and professional writing tips.

  • 16-week program

  • Class meets once a week + 2 hours of self-paced work per week (either Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. OR Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)

  • $50 class fee + $30 certification test fee

  • Pre-requisite: Basic computer skills and English proficiency Advanced ESL or higher

  • Sessions begin in October and January

Customer Service Certification
Master customer service and sales skills, such as the customer life cycle, effective strategies to engage customers, assessing customer needs and closing sales. 

  • 12-week class

  • Class meets once a week (Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. OR Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

  • No class fee

  • $55 certification test fee

  • Sessions begin in September and February only

CPR Certification Workshop
Learn adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants

  • Basic Life Supports (BLS) CPR Certification from American Heart Association

  • Valid 2 years

  • 4-hour workshop

  • Registration fee: $35

  • Sessions:

    • Wednesday, September 6th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    • Tuesday, October 3rd from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

    • Tuesday, November 7th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

English as a Second Language Courses
Learn English to get a better job, to help your children in school, to prepare for citizenship, to continue with your education, or to converse in your community, we have a class for you!  These classes are at NO COST to students.

Classes are offered mornings and evenings and in-person or online.  After you register with the school and attend an orientation assessment you will be placed in a class that meets your level and availability.
