Lee Pollard Student Wins RCOE Esports Tournament

CORONA, CA - Pollard Lion, Nick Richardson, won first place on the RCOE Individual SSBU (Super Sash Bros. Ultimate) Tournament. Over the two-day event, Nick took on all gamers in the 34 player bracket.

For this tournament, Nick received the following:

  • $20 Nintendo Gift Card to the winner

  • $500 Contribution to their high school's RCOE Esports League Scholarship Fund

  • Free admission tickets to Castle Park for the schools esports club (20 tickets max)

  • Winners of online tournaments are also issued a digital badge to keep or share on their favorite social media platform.

Club advisors, Brandon Diaz and David Lopez (teachers), are very proud and excited for Nick. We look forward to many more challenges and victories ahead.
