Chavez students were surprised by NFL players Tyler Hall of the LA Rams and Marcus Epps of the Philadelphia Eagles, as they were the co-captains for our Super Bowl flag football game!
NFL players Tyler Hall of the LA Rams and Marcus Epps of the Philadelphia Eagles came with a great message for our students, “Never give up on your dreams, keep in mind who you surround yourself with, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something you want to achieve.”

CORONA - On March 3, 2022, Chavez Academy students were surprised by NFL players Tyler Hall of the LA Rams and Marcus Epps of the Philadelphia Eagles.

As a longstanding tradition, Chavez Academy's PE Department holds an annual Super Bowl event as a culmination of the department's flag football unit. Tyler and Marcus surprised the students as special guest co-captains for the football game.

The experience allowed students to meet professional athletes who are great humans on and off the field. They came with a great message for our students, "Never give up on your dreams; keep in mind who you surround yourself with; don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something you want to achieve.

A special thank you to our PE teachers, Eric Simmons and Heather Flynn, for putting this incredible experience together!
