Timeline:
2017 - The idea to dedicate the library in her name was discussed by Jefferson staff after her retirement as they reflected on how committed she was to our community and students. 2018 - It was debated whether it should be the old library where she worked for 25 years , or whether it should be the new library being constructed under Measure GG school construction projects which were to be completed in the coming years. 2019 – School Site Council unanimously approved the motion to present to CNUSD School Board and ask for their approval of this honor on August 21, 2019. The Board approved.
