    Tracks B & C track begin testing on Tuesday, May 15th and will test every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through May 24th. Please make sure students sleep well, eat a good breakfast, and are ready to try their best. Absences are discouraged.

  • Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week

    President Barack Obama proclaimed May 15th Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week of May 13 through May 19, 2012 as Police Week. Out of respect for these public saefty officers who work tirelessly to protect the citizens, enforce laws, and keep neighborhoods safe, flags at CFIS will be flown at half mast on Tuesday, May 15th.   • NEW Parent & Student Orientation Night

    On Thursday, May 17th @6PM, CFIS will host an orientation for new parents & students. Come visit the campus, take a tour, ask questions, and recieve an invitation to the 7th grade Orientation Day sponsored by WEB.

  • As if Wednesdays weren't already awesome...

    Jamba Juice is coming to CFIS every Wednesday from now until the end of the year! $3 buys you a 16oz. and $2 gets you an 8oz. Jamba Juice in Strawberry Swirl or Mega Mango! This is a fundraiser for our school and a delicious treat you can reward yourself with for working so hard in school. Available at both lunches.

  • The CFIS Talent Show is HERE!

    On Friday, May 18th, the CFIS students and staff will WOW the audience with their talents! Come join us from 8-9:05, 9:09-10:09, or 10:13-11:13 (Assembly schedule for periods 1-3). All visitors, including D-track students, please remember to sign in at the front office.

  • Support Band & Choir @ Sizzler

    Please join the CFIS Band & Choir at Sizzler (1461 S. Rimpau Ave in Corona) in Monday, June 4th between 4 and 9pm. Print the flyer attached to the headline and 20% of the dinner sales will benefit the music dept. at CFIS.

  • Shout out to PTSA!

    The CFIS PTSA is being recognized at this year’s California State PTA Convention. They will receive the Spotlight Award for Student Involvement. This is the first time in the 110 year history of the California PTSA that this award is being given. CFIS students have met with Senator Emmerson’s office, chaired the Box Tops fundraiser, chaired the Reflections committee and assisted with at the district level, and chaired Red Ribbon Week as well having served on the district planning committee. Again, congratulations to the CFIS PTSA for doing such an amazing job and helping the community and our school!

WELCOME to the Corona Fundamental Intermediate School website. CFIS is a school of choice where traditional values and high expectations meet. Our students receive standards-based instruction in a year-round, four-track school. For the past six years, our students have achieved above 800 on their Academic Performance Index, the highest of all secondary schools in the District. This year (2010,) students achieved 853 on their API, a truly remarkable achievement. CFIS has incredible PTA support and their efforts contribute to our continuing growth. During the next few months, our website will grow. Please check back often to see our new additions as we build our site. In addition, please follow us on Facebook.

Neighborhood Parking: We understand that parking is tricky, but, we kindly ask that all members of the CFIS learning community respect the neighborhood and please do not block driveways with your vehicles.
Cell Phone usage is not allowed in school building. They can be used before and after school, and during lunch break.
