After School Programs

CNUSD currently has after-school programs operating at 14 of our schools sites providing after-school and summer school enrichment programs for kindergarten (including transitional kindergarten) through sixth grade. Students receive a snack, enrichment, and physical fitness opportunities daily. 

The After School Program is composed of enrichment blocks. Enrichment blocks are both academic in nature and focused on exposing students to STEAM, athletics, music, robotics and more! Some of these opportunities will be led by our CNUSD staff, some will involve student exploration of topics, and other enrichment opportunities will be led by outside companies. All programs begin at the end of the school day and end at 6 p.m. Our goal is that your child has plenty of uninterrupted time for enrichment. Students in the foster system and those experiencing homelessness are given priority registration.

The After School Program is currently offered for the 2022-23 school year at these schools:

  • Auburndale Intermediate (HUB for Corona Ranch, Highland, McKinley, Norco El, Reagan, & Rondo School of Discovery)

  • Home Gardens Academy

  • Jefferson Elementary

  • McKinley Elementary

  • Parkridge Elementary

  • Riverview Elementary 

  • Stallings Elementary

  • Todd Elementary

  • Vicentia Elementary

  • Washington Elementary
