Corona High School placed 3rd Overall and 5th in the Super Quiz category at the 2023 Riverside County Academic Decathlon! Congratulations, Panthers!
Aisha Randhawa was named a highest scoring student. Lara Randhawa placed in the Honors Category for interview, literature, and social science. Tai Dao placed in the Varsity Category for mathematics, literature, economics, art, and social science.
The Academic Decathlon competition consists of seven tests of academic strength and three communication skills events. Each test and demonstration has a maximum value of 1,000 points. The categories include Art, Economics, Essay, Interview, Literature, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Science, and Speech. The culminating event is the Super Quiz. Each participating high school team is made up of nine students which include three Honor students, three Scholastic students, and three Varsity students. Teams may also submit alternate names of team members.
