Raney Intermediate Gym Project
- The design for the Raney Measure GG Project is pending state approval. This is an $18 million project that includes the removal of old portable classrooms and the addition of a 10,000 sqft gymnasium. The District anticipates construction on this project to start in the Summer of 2024 and last approximately 14-16 months. In the fall of 2023, the boys and girl’s locker rooms were remodeled and received new lockers and restroom accommodations.
Highland Elementary
- The Highland Elementary project includes providing (7) new TK/Kinder classrooms as well as other minor improvements on the site. This is an $8 million project and construction, and site improvements are anticipated to start in the Spring of 2024 and last approximately 12 months to complete.
Victress Bower School for Exceptional Children
- The Victress Bower School project includes adding a two-classroom permanent modular building to the campus to provide more space for the specialized therapy services for the students that attend this school. As part of the project the parking lot will be reconfigured and brought up to the current code. This project has a budget of $2.6 million and is anticipated to start in the Summer of 2024 and last about 12 months.
Centennial Aquatic Center
- The Centennial HS Aquatics Center is DSA approved and the Districts anticipates construction to start in February 2024 and last until the Summer of 2025. This is a $25 million project that includes the installation of a 50-meter pool, new pool facilities and bleachers. When construction starts on this project there may be an impact on the parking lot and the student drop-off and pick-up areas on campus. More information will be provided as the start of construction gets closer.
Auburndale Gym
- The design process for the Auburndale Measure GG Project continues. This is an $18 million project consisting of a new 10,000 sqft gymnasium building that includes a gymnasium and a new CTE classroom. Construction on this project is estimated to start in the summer of 2024 and last 14-16 months. The lockers in the existing boys and girl’s lockers rooms were replaced in November 2023.
District Wide Solar Project
- The District continues to install Solar Structure throughout our sites. To date, the installation is currently taking place at the following schools/sites:
- Anthony; Centennial; Chavez; Raney; Garretson; Corona Fundamental; Foothill; Pollard; Maintenance; Orange Grove; Prado View; Coronita; Jefferson; Franklin; Vandermolen; Norco Intermediate; Riverview; Sierra Vista; Todd; Temescal Valley
- Solar Installation is scheduled to begin in January and February at the following sites include:
- Parkridge; Highland; Auburndale; Bower; Washington; Orange El; Home Gardens; Rosa Parks
